Boulders

Boulders is a family owned boutique vineyard located on the alluvial Martinborough Terraces. In the early 1900’s the property was a dairy farm owned by Jack Martin, grandson of the towns founder John Martin. Much later the land became the local golf course and in 1994 Riesling GM 239 clone vines were planted by descendants of John Martin.

Martinborough’s cool climate provides great conditions for producing Riesling fruit. The selective cropping and ideal flowering conditions ensure quality and concentration of harvested fruit.
