Dessert wine that is medium dark gold leaf in colour. Attractive and lifted aromas of baked apricot, lime zest, oranges and a suggestion of caramelised sugar. On the palate the wine is medium sweet, has medium/full bodied texture and is well balanced by a bright fresh acid line. The overall impression is of a wine that has gently aged yet remains fresh and fine.
Late harvest botrytised bunches of Martinborough riesling slowly basket pressed, cooled and fermented with selected yeasts. 150g/l of residual sugar and acids at 6.1g/l provides a balanced Noble Riesling.
