The Equilibrium Chardonnay is 100% grown from Te Muna valley Martinborough and Gladstone.
A lively youthful bouquet with varietal scents of yellow fleshed stone fruits, red and baked apple, some citrus then some gentle spices qualities from less and site more than barrel. The use of oak is kept to a minimum showcasing the wines natural flavours first. A satin texture touches the palate first then flavours of citrus then stone fruits and apple follow. The spice notes from the bouquet follow with a gentle nudge. Decent acid line, medium+ weight and a lengthy well made finish. Best from 2024 through 2029.
