This is a blend of 60% Barnea which gives the oil a mellow, rich banana flavour, while the Manzanillo, Leccino and Frantoio olives from twenty year old trees provide peppery notes. The age of the trees adds depth to the blend. This oil has medium intensity, grassy and fruity with hints of lemon and green apple on the front palate and green tomato on the back. Lovely on just about anything but especially on vanilla ice-cream with a dash of sea salt.
