Sourced 70% from our Martinborough vineyards and 30% from the Noetzli Family vineyard in Maraekakaho, Hawkes Bay. A range of fruit has been used this year: 33% Cabernet Franc, 30% Pinot Noir, 16% Merlot, 13% Syrah 10% and 8% Cabernet Sauvignon all combining to make a savoury, complex style. Barrel fermentation, time on lees and indigenous yeasts are all factors that add to the texture and breadth of flavours in this wine.
Aromatics aromas range from watermelon, pomegranate, sherbet, pink peppercorn and pecorino cheese. This is a dry Rosé that on tasting made us all want platters of wild cured meats, hard cheeses and cold smoked salmon!
Made from a composition of Pinot Noir, Cabernet, Riesling, Pinot Gris & Sauvignon Blanc to produce freshly macerated strawberry aromas complemented by a honeycomb crunch and struck flint character. A fresh citrus palate builds in weight with a touch of cream drawn from malo-lactic characters and the addition of mature wine components. A nice lingering spice completes this fine summer wine.
100% Pinot Noir from our Te Muna Rd vineyard has given us a wonderfully perfumed, strawberry aromatic wine. Left on skins for a mere 6 hours then barrel fermented in old oak a very delicate perfect blush coloured Pinot Rosé has resulted.
grava’s Rosé is produced predominantly from a single Pinot Noir clone, picked early to ensure lively acidity to back up the fruit forward characters which represent a great Rosé. The wine is given minimal skin contact in the press - resulting in a subtle salmon-coloured wine.
The 2015 grava Rosé was fermented in 500 litre puncheons to produce a fruit-driven wine with a layer of mineral complexity.
Light pink in colour, this wine has the aroma of roses, strawberries and raspberries. To the palate it is luscious, soft, full-bodied but dry with flavours of strawberries, cranberries and watermelon.
A very light basket press of their premium Pinot, light pink rose colour, hints of strawberry, white peach and melons. Made in a dry style, full and rich on the palate; a reminder of Provence.

Bright, pale pink in colour with aromas of strawberry, cherries and watermelon on the nose.
On the palate the wine is dry to the taste with layers of red fruits and a lovely soft richness helping fill out the wine. This creates a delicious medium bodied Rose with texture and weight.
