All this means is that a quick decant after a couple of years aging, then pair with foods that can handle a little muscle. I tasted this from barrel just prior to it being bottled – absolutely loved it. Dominant fruit fruit expression, lovely tannin over a bed of black fruits, black tea and preserved cherries. Oh My.
