Cambridge Road Vineyard -" in a storm" - fortified Pinot Noir

From a Martinborough Terrace block of old vine Pinot Noir picked really late and introduced fortifying spirit to arrest fermentation and retain a modest amount of sweetness.
16 months in old French oak.
This is much drier than traditional Ports but does have a noticeable sweetness, the alcohol is also a touch lower than most port at the bare minimum to bring stability 17.9%.
No added sulphites. Just 300 bottles produced.
