"Medium-bodied chardonnay with white peach, stone fruits, wet stone, mineral, brioche and hazelnut flavours. A high energy wine that promises to develop well with bottle age" Bob Campbell, Master of Wine, Real Review, Aug 2020
Ripe, savoury yellow stonefruits on the nose, citrus fruits and mealy elements, along with subtle nutty, leesy notes, the oaking discrete and balanced. Medium-bodied, the palate has a core of savoury yellow stonefruits with a layering of citrus fruit, and mealy and nutty elements. The mouthfeel is fresh and crisp with lacy acidity, and the wine flows along a soft, textural line with good depth leading to a gently full and lingering finish of stonefruits and nuts. A savoury yellow Chardonnay with good depth and presence and a fresh, underlying mouthfeel. Aged 11 months on lees in seasoned French oak barriques.
