This luscious wine obtained its name from the Italian Vintner, who started planting this vineyard in Martinborough in 1989. Slightly peachy coloured late harvest wine with noble sweetness and high viscosity; very charming with an impressive quince aroma followed by peaches, wild white flowers and zesty citrus and layers of acacia honey. Showing minerality and a nicely balanced acidity this wine has a most luscious finish.
