Tangent by Alexia Wairarapa Chenin Blanc

TANGENT; from the Latin word ‘tangere’ meaning to touch. In geometry the tangent is a line that just touches a curve. In life, a tangent is a different line of thought or action.

A lo-fi wine - vineyard derived yeasts, minimal handling and filtration, restrained use of oak, and no additions except sulphur.

Handpicked in two parcels - part one gently stomped and left on skins, part two picked later and whole bunched pressed. Aged in neutral oak for nine months. Bone dry.

Key Notes: Lemon rind, White florals, river rocks, texture.
