Alana

Alana Estate is a boutique winery situated in the heart of Martinborough's township. It's owned by Mike Cornish and his family who undertake much of the vineyard work. They have a strong input in the day to day running of the business. Mike has been involved in the wine industry since the early 90s and has immense passion for the industry. His motto is "Make great wine and have fun doing it."

Alana’s winemaker, Alex Craighead, has been involved in the venture since 2011 and has experience making wines all around the world spanning from New Zealand to Australia, Spain, France, Italy, Canada and the USA. Alex's passion is minimalist winemaking, utilizing native yeast, low levels of SO2 and concentrating on letting the grapes express themselves.
