THE TE MUNA WALK

Martinborough’s hidden valley is the humble home of some of the most prestigious names in New Zealand wine. An extension of the Martinborough Terrace, this valley has been carved out by the Huangarua river some 20,000 years ago. Since the late 1980’s and with iconic producers including Craggy Range and Escarpment, it is the area quietly making a global impact. This vigorous trek begins ‘over-the-hill’ on the Rapaki Track, so is designed for fitter walkers that enjoy a bit of physical yin to accompany their wine-imbibing yang. Winery Visits include:
