LIME HILL by Johner Pinot Noir 2020

From our Lime Hill Vineyard 1.3 Ha was planted in Pinot Noir and Chadonnay in 2013 on a hillside 200m above sea-level.   The soil consists of clay on Limestone producing elegant wines in the Burgundian style.

Lime Hill Pinot Noir 2020 is deep red with firm, ripe tannins and flavours that suggest red-fleshed plum, cassis, cacao powder, oyster shell, rhubarb and spicy French oak.  A distinctive, generously proportioned wine that would certainly benefit from cellaring.
