Old vines. Gnarly and knotted trunks, fatter than my arm. Deep deep roots. Pruned hard, cropped low, and no irrigation. Barrel fermented, with judicious batonnage. The result is a richly textured Sauvignon, smacking of lemongrass, lime zest, and ripe tropical fruit, flinty minerality and lively acidity.
