Home of premium wines and olive oils.  Mike and Margaret Hanson began planting their vineyard and olive grove on an old river terrace overlooking Te Muna Valley just outside of Martinborough in 1998.  The vines and trees have been lovingly nurtured since then to produce nationally and internationally acclaimed products.  Stony soils from an old Martinborough river terrace set the scene. A very gentle north facing slope catches the sunshine. Winds create complexity you can taste in the wine. Add in meticulous hands-on care of the vines and the olive grove and a strong focus on sustainability.  The result is intense flavours that sing of the place that the wine and olive oil is grown.
