BDX is Terroir Wines homage to the Bordeaux varieties that around the globe, find their best expression in some of the finest terroir where wine is made. Here, Martinborough and the very warm 2010 vintage express themselves through a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (80%) with the balancing touch of Merlot (20%).
The grapes for BDX 2010 were sourced from old vines planted near the heart of Martinborough. The wine was fermented in small volumes and aged for close to 36 months in a mix of old French and new American oak.
BDX 2010 is an extremely limited production of 696 bottles that is ready for your enjoyment today or evolution in the cellar for up to 15 years from the date of vintage.

This BDX 2011 is an exciting assemblage of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc & Merlot in equal thirds. The grapes were sourced from old vines planted near the heart of Martinborough. Each variety was fermented separately and aged in a mix of Hungarian and French oak barriques for 18 months prior to blending and bottling.
BDX 2011 is dark and intensely aromatic with a volume of ripe fine tannin that will aid the wine to evolve in the cellar, drinking well through to 2025 and possibly beyond. A very limited production of 800 bottles.
