Once part of the larger Waipipi Homestead vineyard. The estate has since been broken into small parcels.
The Homestead was built in 1903 & bought by the Bunny family in 1909.
The planting of the estate vineyards occurred in the early 1990's. Family owned, worked and produced premium single vineyard wines from Ōpaki, at the northern edge of Wairarapa Pinot Noir Country.
