 sitting comfortably alongside the Ruamahunga River & affectionately known as "the Cliff's" or Nga Pari. with soils made up of light alluvial river deposits over a shingle gravel substrate it provides an ideal base and when mixed with the the Wairarapa region growing environment of long hot summer days with cool nights and gentle autumns allows the grapes to reach full ripeness.
