The Waikoa is 100% Sauvignon Blanc.
The Sauvignon Blanc is from a small plot of old vines on the edge of the Martinborough Terrace which has been organically farmed. They produced delicious big berries full of flavour. 25% was whole bunch infusion and fermentation, full malolactic, unfiltered, not fined making it beautifully aromatic & textured.
A perfumed nose of florals, ripe tropical fruits, and a hint of kiwi & jalapeno pepper. The palate is driven by ripe citrus notes has breath on the palate and a textured fine finish.
Serve lightly chilled on a warm day or served with fresh kaimoana.
