Notable for its typical fragrant aroma (sometimes described as floral) which is backed up with very ripe flavours of dark cherries and blackberries. The ripe fruit is beautifully complimented with warm earthy flavours that make you dream of mushrooms and truffles. It’s a match made in (Martinborough) heaven with a roaring winter fire and a ragout of venison, duck, or rabbit.
